Early Life and Career

Born on June 21, 1996, Webb Scott Scheffler is an American professional golfer who currently holds the world number one ranking. Scheffler attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a member of the golf team.

Amateur Success

As an amateur, Scheffler enjoyed a successful career. He won numerous tournaments, including the 2015 NCAA Championship. He also represented the United States in the Walker Cup in 2017.

Professional Career

Scheffler turned professional in 2018 and quickly established himself as one of the top players on the PGA Tour. He won his first Tour event in 2019 at the WM Phoenix Open. Since then, he has gone on to win several more tournaments, including the 2022 Masters Tournament.

Personal Life

Outside of golf, Scheffler is married to Meredith Scudder. The couple has two children. Scheffler is known for his quiet personality and his dedication to his craft.
